The sun begins to set behind them as Keira and her rescuer step onto dry land.  Keira clings to his shirt for balance with her other arm around his neck while he supports her.

The boy sets her down carefully onto a fallen log, next to the belongings he shed when he dove into the water after her.

???: Easy now.

Keira is shaking and shivering as he releases her, likely from a combination of cold, nerves, and exhaustion. Without a word he throws his jacket over her head and wraps it around her.

???: Here, take this.

Keira, smiling weakly: T-thank you. For…well, you know. Everything.
