Keira makes her way through the classroom, completely unnoticed by her peers killing time until class starts. She finds an agreeable spot and takes a seat, her eyes glued to her desk.

Irene: Oh! Keira, look!

She looks up and around at Irene’s command. There, across the room, she recognizes someone chatting with a group of classmates. His face lights up with a warm, familiar smile.
