Through the foliage, we see the pond where the nymphs, Leila and Loni, dwell. Leila sits on the shore and Loni stands in the water, both watching the viewer with quiet, curious smiles. Leaves fall to scatter on the ground and water’s surface around them as mist clings to the distant shore.
