KA-CHIK!

The door opens with a click, and a sliver of light is in Keira’s eyes, alerting her to the door slowly creaking open. She and Irene look up to see Tyler, framed by sunlight radiating into the dark space. 

He’s breathing heavily, and looking at her with surprise. He has a few cuts, similar to Keira’s but not as numerous, and we see something else that had not been visible from Erin’s perspective: there’s something – no, someone – small perched on his right shoulder.
