Keira resumes walking, but Garrett calls after her once more. She glances back, expression scornful. 

Garrett, flustered: Look, it’s not something I can talk about, okay?!

Keira: Then why even bring it up?

Garrett, embarrassed: I don’t KNOW why, I just… I want you to see that I’m not a bad person.

They stand there in pointed silence, Keira staring at Garrett and him looking away.
