He sees Keira standing back by her seat, gripping the strap of her messenger back and looking at him with confusion and a little bit of hurt. Garrett turns away once more, his pained determination hidden from her view.
He passes Erin in the doorway on his way out. She greets Keira with a cheerful grin and a wave.
